Build, Film, and Premiere!

Join us for an exciting summer camp where fun creativity meets technical filmmaking! In this hands-on camp, students of all skill levels learn the art of stop-motion filmmaking. Using Lego and mobile devices (phones or iPads) as primary tools, campers explore the magic of frame-by-frame animation in a fun and supportive environment.

Storytelling & Technical Skills

Our instructors guide students through the entire creative process, from initial brainstorming to the final edit. For students looking to take their projects to the next level, we offer professional cameras to help capture high-quality footage. Throughout the week, campers will explore:

• Storyboarding & Character Development: Bringing ideas to life.

• Set Design: Building Lego worlds for their stories.

• Animation Principles: Learning the essentials of timing, spacing, and movement to make characters feel alive.

Health & Well-being

While we love LEGO and the process of animation, we prioritize our students' physical health. To ensure students aren't sitting in front of a screen or a set all day, we incorporate regular stretch breaks throughout the day. These breaks are essential for keeping students refreshed, active, and energized.

The Friday Showcase

On Friday, we invite friends and family to watch the stop-motion films the students have created. It’s a wonderful opportunity for every camper to show off a project they are truly proud of.

Advanced Teen Internships

Experienced teen animators (15+) can apply to be a Visual Arts Intern. You’ll work with our staff to help campers in this camp and more.
