Santa Cruz Forest School Summer Sessions

Ages 3.5-6

Santa Cruz–The NEST in Felton, CA

Tues / Thurs

The Santa Cruz Forest School is modeled after the European Forest Kindergarten. Children enjoy self-directed free play in the forest and meadow at the NEST in Felton, California. Forest School children often develop a deeper respect and sense of wonder for our environment while cultivating social emotional skills that form a foundation for learning. We meet outside, rain or shine.

Mother Nature serves as both our teacher and classroom, where work and play are one.

Fridays are our Field Trip Days. Parents will meet at the scheduled Field Trip Location which could be one of several locations in the Santa Cruz area including Natural Bridges, Henry Cowell, or Fall Creek.

Notes: Enrollment Requirements: • 3.5 years old or older by the first day of the program. • Toilet trained by the first day of the program. • Your child must be prepared (and want!) to be outside rain or shine, cool or warm
